How To Tackle Plastic Free July:

Items you can eliminate quite easily are: plastic straws and utensils from take away restaurants, disposable coffee cups, single use plastic bottles and bags. There are some items you might struggle to eliminate, for example the packaging that food items come with. Unless you live near a bulk foods store you might find it difficult to purchase package free pasta or rice. Instead of feeling defeated, take this as a challenge! What can you make that doesn’t come wrapped in plastic? *Hint* the answer is fresh food! You might just find by the end of the month you’re eating a healthier, less processed diet. Some easy switches to make are: find a reusable water bottle, say no to plastic knives and forks at take away restaurants or bring your own container! If you are serious about reducing your consumption of plastic then start this July, eliminate all the single use plastic from your life that you can and feel good about your decision, the planet will thank you!
