Every year we celebrate with ham, veggies, special fried rice, sweet potatoes
and ice cream. We love our ham. Everyone helps to prepare the meal. Sometimes we
also bake a few cupcakes together. Kids love to decorate them.
Every year we celebrate Christmas with our son ,daughter-in-law & their (adult)
children. It is still great to share chicken, fresh roasted vegies followed by a
big homemade plum pudding w/- ice-cream.
Every year I celebrated Christmas party with my family . This year I will be
with my husband and I will cook special dishes for my husband and his friends. I
am sure it will be great Christmas of my life . Merry Christmas to all
My husband and I usually spend Christmas Day interstate with my 2 older sisters
and my younger sister (as my parents are no longer with us). My 2 older sisters
cook ham, chicken with stuffing, vegetables and roast potatoes and gravy (all
hot of course). For dessert they always make a huge plum pudding in a cloth (my
Mum's old recipe) and we have cream with it. They have a Christmas tree and we
all exchange presents. There is lots of fun, reminiscing and laughter.
However, this year we are all travelling overseas shortly after Christmas, so my
husband and I will be having a quiet Christmas on our own. We will probably
have cold ham and salad. I will miss my sisters, but will see them in January.
for years at my parents place on Christmas day mum has always prepared a
traditional hot meal with lamb, chicken and roasted vegetables. This year she has
informed us that we will be having a cold Christmas lunch. This is so much easier
for my mum to prepare. On boxing day on my husbands get together there is usually
about 40 people and we always have a cold lunch which is always nice and tasty
