Here are the most frequently asked questions from our members to help save you time. 1) Privacy Will LiveTribe publish my FULL NAME IF I win something? When you register you have the option of choosing a nickname. If you have a nickname, LiveTribe will always use it as default for publishing winners. If you have not chosen a nickname, please go to the members area > nickname & avatar, and set one up. I am worried about LiveTribe knowing my personal information.
How do I know it is safe? 2) Registration and login issues I have forgotten my password/username, how can I access this? Your username is simply the email address you used to register with LiveTribe. To access your password simply click on the 'FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD' text link under the login section on the home page. Click on this and you will be asked to enter your email. Once you have completed this step your password will be sent to the email address provided. I did not receive a confirmation of registration email, what can I do to confirm my registration? If you did not receive a confirmation of registration email, please first check that the email is not in your junk mail folder and if not, please visit our home page to have the email resent. To do this, simply login via the home page with your email (username) and the password you provided at registration. You will then be directed to a page where you can choose the option 'CLICK HERE TO RESEND YOUR REGISTRATION EMAIL'. If you still do not receive the confirmation email, please contact support and we will manually confirm your registration. The URL address provided in the confirmation email doesn't work. What do I do to confirm registration? It is advised that rather than clicking on the URL link provided to you in the email, you copy and paste it into your web browser. If you are still having problems we advise you to try to confirm registration from another computer as your browser may be having difficulty in viewing the website. If the URL link is not evident in the email you receive, you can also resend the confirmation email to yourself to obtain the required link. To access the link simply login via the home page with your email (username) and the password you provided at registration. You will then be directed to a page where you can choose the option 'CLICK HERE TO RESEND YOUR REGISTRATION EMAIL'. How do I update my personal details should they change? You can update your personal details through the LiveTribe website by logging into the members area using your email address and password. On the left hand side of the screen you will see the list of profile surveys. Simply click on the personal details you want to amend and update these. I have signed in to LiveTribe but I get a blank page, how can I login to the members area? To access LiveTribe and to participate in surveys you need to disable your pop-up blocker. On most computers you can do that by going to tools > pop-up blocker > and unclick 'turn on pop-up blocker'. You will also need to have a flash player installed. You can download a flash player, or upgrade to the newest version by visiting: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ 3) Members area I am trying to complete a profile survey but it is not letting me through. Please make sure you answer ALL questions to be able to save a profile section. If it is not letting you through it is probably because you have missed a question. I have suggested a poll but it wasn't published. Suggested polls are reviewed by the ChiefTriber and published at their discretion. Defamatory or unintelligible polls may not be published. The ChiefTriber may also edit a suggested poll at their discretion. I have posted a new topic but it is not showing on the forum. Posted topics are reviewed by the ChiefTriber and displayed at their discretion. Defamatory or unintelligible topics may not be posted. The ChiefTriber may also edit a posted topic at their discretion. 4) Surveys How do I participate in surveys? When you are selected to complete a study we will send an email notification to you. Alternatively you can log into the LiveTribe Members Area and look under 'SURVEY INVITATIONS' to see if anything has been assigned to you. We will always notify you by email when a new survey is available. It is therefore very important to keep your email up to date if it changes, so that you can participate and receive your rewards. I started a survey but after only a few questions I was thanked for participating and taken to the rewards page. Sometimes you may not qualify for a particular survey based on certain characteristics. You will be rewarded nonetheless for your participation. Also please note that surveys open on separate browser pages so if the survey does not seem to load, have a look for other open browser windows on your computer. When I logged in to complete a survey I was advised that the survey had closed. What does this mean? In certain circumstances some studies can close earlier than expected due to an unusually high response rate to a survey invitation. Sometimes members are quicker to respond than average and a project is completed before the specified closing date. To avoid disappointment, and such events occurring, we encourage you to respond to survey invitations as soon as you receive them. When I clicked on a link to participate in a survey, I was advised the survey had temporarily closed and try again later. In some cases, surveys get suspended but get reopened after a while (for instance if there's a technical issue preventing people from moving forward in the survey). If you see this message, please try again later. I was doing a survey and then, midway, I saw this message: Thank you for participating in this survey. Unfortunately, we have filled our quota for this week. Please be assured that your opinions are extremely valuable to us, the survey will re-open again in 3 days, so please try again then' Sometimes surveys reach quotas for a certain types of people based on things like age and gender; if you receive this message, then this particular survey will reset quota every few days and you are encouraged to try again later. 5) Rewards I completed a survey but didn't get rewarded, what should I do to get my reward? If you have not been rewarded for participating in a survey, please email LiveTribe's support team, at support@livetribe.com. I redeemed a voucher, but I still have not received it Vouchers normally take up to 40 days to be processed and sent out. If after this period of time, you still haven't received your voucher, please contact admin@livetribe.com so we can track your order. |
