Many of us love going to fast food restaurants. Whether it’s your local McDonald’s, Hungry Jacks, KFC or Pizza hut. We love the convenience, inexpensive dining and whether we’d like to admit it, sometimes it just tastes too good!
But we all know that fast food restaurants can sometimes have a bad rep, that doesn’t mean that all fast food chains are terrible! Some are great, however we’re sure many of you have had some pretty weird and nasty experiences!
Here’s a few horror stories we found on our own:
Rat Attack
Many of you have probably witnessed a rodent or two in your local fast food chain. With all that food sometimes it’s inevitable. What about when one of those little critters makes their way into your meal?
While waiting to order a meal at a local fast food restaurant, a woman saw a kid sit down and bite into his chicken tender, which she described as stringy, grey and had a tail unlike chicken. Turns out he had just bit into a deep-fried, cooked rat!
Beetle Pizza
Eating pizza is something most of us look forward too. Meat lovers, margarita, supreme, you name it! What about a beetle pizza?
While biting into a delicious slice of pizza, a customer bit into something oddly crunchy. Upon further investigation noticed that there was half a shell in the cheese. The other? In their mouth! Turns out there was a beetle baked into the pizza. Ew!
Hairy Juice
Juice bars, there’s nothing that could possible go wrong when going into a juice bar! Fresh fruit, sorbet, veggies, any combination you could possibly imagine! Not for one lady…
When taking a sip from her juice that she had just ordered from a famous juice chain, she felt a hair come up her straw and into her mouth! She then proceeded to pull out a four-inch-long, dark hair out of her mouth!
Sick
One woman witnessed a fast food employee vomit in her hands, drop it into the rubbish bin and proceeded to put tacos into a take-a-way bag!
We could go on and on about the numerous bad experiences in fast food places. Again, we aren’t saying this is the case for all fast food chains, many of them maintain high quality standards.

I’ve worked in all types of food places and I have seen some really bad things. Dagwood dog van at shows, batter not covered and flies breeding in it. A bakery that left pies out over night, some eaten by rats and owner told us to sell what looks ok. A fish and chip shop placing its fish over a bucket of bleach and selling old food. I was told by a pizza place worker if people complain and they have to remake and send another pizza, they spit all over it. That’s only a few things. One good thing about working in food outlets was learning how dirty and uncaring these people are and be careful with buying fast food, and no I totally refused to sell this stuff and never lasted long in these jobs because of this. Hope this helps people.
